Just watched the highlights of the Northampton game. How the hell did they eek out ten minutes of that game to show as highlights. If we were Premier League, that game deserved to be on last on Match of the Day.

From the statistics you would think the Dons are about to break through with a 5-0 win over someone (Rochdale???), but then again, maybe not.

Listened in on the phone on my drive back home from the Wallabies Test. From the WDON call Dons had a lot of the play and the stats bear that out. Been a tough start for the Dons so far. At least, we know roughly what to expect from tonight’s game, even it is a bunch of big, ugly brutes. The key will be limiting the opposition to no more than one goal. This fixture has a history of 1-1 scorelines and no doubt most of us would be satisfied with that tonight.

Thanks for that excellent analysis Windlesham, it just shows how difficult the move up a league can be, but I stress it’s early days in the season.
