What a faux pas that really was letting Shea go.

On the face of it George Long is not the type of keeper I was hoping for. His career has stalled in the last few years and he barely played any first team games last season. In 2014 he was returned from a loan spell at Oxford! I really hope I am wrong, but at first glance it looks like a Ryan Clarke style signing! :o(

If it is a striker then it can only mean that we have been successful in our attempts to offload Barnett!

We are not in a financial position to carry 5 strikers (not forgetting young Jayden Antwi).

IMO Poleon was really done for when NA changed the formation to play 3 up front. The two attackers supporting big Tom needed to fall into midfield when not in possession and Dom failed to grasp this role. Doing some quick sums, figure (if Reeves does leave for Bradford) then Wimbledon’s transfer kitty has about 500K from the sales of Bursik, Poleon and Reeves. I’m actually very disappointed and a little worried about Poleon going. I don’t think NA ever really backed him as a first choice striker, and that may have affected his form. So Dom Poleon has gone to Bradford City. A shame, but nothing really to worry about as he was only a fringe player towards the end of the season.

Well, I wasn’t 100% about Tom Elliot but I am 100% about Jake Reeves. We simply don’t have anyone else of his calibre As a playmaker he was pivotal (as stated by others here.) If Reeves goes, I’ll be worried. He was out only ever present last season, won the most MOTMs, and was in everyone’s top three players of the season. Hearing that Jake Reeves is likely to leave, not sure what state the negotiations are at over a fee with Bradford City, but the simple arithmetic is that Jake comes off contract next season and we can cash in now or get nothing down the track. Rumours swirling that Kelle Roos will be our new keeper. If so, it will be the first summer signing that will disappoint me.
