That result sucks. Many will blame the referee, but he set his stall out early with some very soft decisions. Pompey played into this, and we gave him every opportunity to give decisions against us. We just weren’t savvy enough.

Admittedly I wasn’t at the game, and only saw the highlights, but I really don’t think we can complain about Jimmy’s sending off. Yes it was harsh, but it is one of those that you give the referee the option to make up his mind. Once you do that, if it goes against you, you shouldn’t be surprised. It was two footed, with the studs showing. End of!

What’s the bung rate for a made up sending off these days?

My worry with Parrett is his attitude if he isn’t playing. I hope it doesn’t disrupt the harmony of the squad…

Windlesham, if it helps in future, maybe save what you’re typing to avoid the timeout. I have had this problem some times and go back with the top left arrow to a previous screen and copy what’s there protectively and paste. See if that helps you next time.

I too was disappointed, Windlesham, that the Dons didn’t add the tall striker option in Michael Smith to the squad on deadline day. I understand the club could not meet his wage demands and moneybags Bury got him. We move on with what we’ve got at least until the next window in January.
